英汉翻译技巧：
（1）正反译法(negation)：包括正话反说和反话正说
例：hunger march 反饥饿游行
terror war 反恐战争
dust mask防尘罩
tear test抗拉扯实验
the head of the story故事的后面
<1>带有否定词的正反翻译，英语中含有no, not,never,none,un,less,im,in,ir等成分的词语，都被视为否定表达
汉语中含有 不，没，未，休，莫，非，否，勿
<2>正说反译1：英语中很多词本身就含有否定含义，beyond,absent,stop,bad,avoid,exclude,except,doubt,resistant,refuse,few,little这类词在翻译中要译出它的含有的否定含义
例： The window refuses to open.窗户打不开。
Children were excluded from getting in the building,孩子不许进入这幢楼房。
Such a chance denied me. 我没有得到这个机会。
The explanation is pretty thin.这个解释站不住脚。
<3>有些正反译法可以增强修辞效果，但使用的时候需要非常慎重。
例：Sir William and Lady Lucas are determined to go, merely on that account, for in general you know they visit no new comers.
....还不就是为了这个缘故.....
<4>反说正译1：祈使句中的否定说话表达正面意义
例：no-smoking 应翻译为“禁止吸烟”而不是“不要吸烟”
Don't lose time in posting this letter.赶快把这封信寄出去。
<5>反说正译2：双重否定正译
例： We must never stop taking an optimistic view of life.
我们对生活要永远保持乐观态度。
Such mistakes couldn't long escape notice.
这类错误迟早会被发觉的。
<6>反说正译3：为了符合目的语的语言习惯
例：The examination left no doubt that the patient died of cancer.
检验结果清楚的表明病人死于癌症。
It is not uncommon to hear of dolphins giving rides through the water to humans.
海豚在水中供人骑也是常有所闻的。
By the early 1970s,however, high cost and a rising tide of inexpensive Japanese TVs were taking a heavy toll.
但在20世纪70年代初，高成本以及日本廉价电视机日趋上升的势头使其遭受重创。
